In this post, Heick explores the idea of curriculum as "a set of networks, tools, self-directed thinking habits, and accessible learning models".
I believe this idea applies to professional development. At EdCampMSP, participants create an agenda and determine the tools, thinking and learning experiences that are most relevant to their immediate needs.
This year, EdCampMSP will focus the fun into two sessions. The morning session will open in the usual fashion. Participants will create an agenda around their specific interests and needs. Following lunch, we will open the afternoon session. This session is focused on creation. Innovative teachers as well as friends of EdCampMSP - Flipgrid, KidBlog, and DocentEdu - will be available to collaborate in order to create activities and tools you can use on Monday.
